We at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church are a small congregation of hard working people doing our best to share the light of Christ with the world.
We come together as a community of faith, believing in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth and of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only son of God and the Holy Spirit, the Lord, giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
We believe there is a better life to live than is offered by the world. We come together to share in God's love, to live in the life Jesus Christ has shown us and to do all this through the power of the Holy Spirit.

PRESCHOOL SPAGHETTI DINNER - THANK YOU
The preschool spaghetti dinner raised over $600. We would like to thank everyone who came out or donated. We are truly blessed to have such faithful members.

SPRING CAMPOUT
The spring campout this year will be at Northbend Campground from April 13-15. The "hardcore" campers will be there on the 9th. The central site (i.e., where all the FOOD is) will be site #198. Reservations can be made for any or all dates between the 9th and 15th. See Mary C for more information.

Family Game night:
Set for the third Friday of each month, we will be having a family game night in the fellowship hall. Bring your favorite board game and come on out for some good fellowship. Dinner will be served at 6:30PM, followed by a time of fellowship, playing games, watching a movie, or just sitting around talking.

Great Bridge Food Closet Current Needs:
Special Need: Tomato Soup and Chicken Noodle Soup.
Cereal, pasta for spagehtti, spaghetti sauce, small flour and sugar, pancake mix, crackers, complete meals in a box, canned tuna, chicken and beef stew, hamburger, tuna and chicken helper, tea, pancake syrup, mac and cheese, all kinds of canned begetables.
